These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HomeGuard Roofing website at homeguardroofing.com (the “Site”). 1. What HomeGuard Roofing Is

HomeGuard Roofing is an information and referral service for homeowners in Dublin, California. HomeGuard Roofing is not a licensed contractor and does not perform roofing work. When you contact us through the Site, by phone or by form, we may connect you with an independent, licensed roofing contractor who serves Dublin.

Any roofing work is performed by that contractor under a separate agreement between you and them. That contractor is responsible for their license, insurance, permits, workmanship, warranties, pricing and conduct.

2. No Contract for Services Through the Site

Submitting a form, calling a phone number on the Site, or requesting an inspection does not create a contract for roofing services. A contract exists only when you and a contractor sign a written agreement. California law requires most home improvement contracts to be in writing and to include specific disclosures.

3. Information on the Site

Content on the Site, including guides, cost ranges, descriptions of codes, permits, insurance and local conditions, is for general information only. It is not professional, legal, insurance, engineering or financial advice. Prices shown are general ranges, not quotes. Building codes, permit rules and programs change; verify current requirements with the City of Dublin, the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), your insurer or another qualified professional. 4. Your Use of the Site

You agree to:

• Use the Site only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate information when you contact us
• Not submit information about another person without their permission
• Not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Not copy, scrape or republish Site content except as allowed below

5. Communications and Consent

When you submit a form or call us, you agree that we and the contractor we refer you to may contact you by phone, email or text message about your request. If you provide a mobile number and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages related to your request. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing messages is not required to get help with your roof.

Call recording: Calls to phone numbers on the Site may be recorded and monitored for quality and lead-tracking purposes. You will be told at the start of the call.

6. Referral Relationship

HomeGuard Roofing may receive compensation from contractors we refer you to. This does not change what you pay the contractor.

We try to refer only contractors with an active CSLB license, but we do not guarantee any contractor’s work, prices, timelines or conduct. Please check any contractor’s license yourself at cslb.ca.gov before signing a contract.

7. Reviews and Testimonials

Reviews and testimonials on the Site come from real customers and are published with permission. Individual experiences vary and are not a guarantee of results.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party sites, such as the City of Dublin, the CSLB, CAL FIRE and county programs. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site’s text, photos, graphics, logos and design belong to HomeGuard Roofing or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to the Site and quote short excerpts with attribution. Any other copying or reuse requires our written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeGuard Roofing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or from services provided by any contractor. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeGuard Roofing from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
